2. I used to use Adobe Photoshop CS4, but after my files for that got uninstalled by accident, I’ve been using Adobe Photoshop Elements. There’s some stuff Elements doesn’t do the same as Photoshop (hell, it’s even missing certain features..), but it works perfectly for what I do. It even let me transfer my favorite brushes over with no problem.
3. I went to one for two years around 2009-2011 and got an Associate’s in Digital Animation. …not. The best decision I ever made lol it’s been, for the most part, pretty useless - and EXPENSIVE thanks to some bullshit loans I only just recently received because some clerk couldn’t keep track of records and nobody thought to communicate with me back when this was apparently happening. BUT. I made some wonderful friends, had some excellent experiences, got my dog Joshua, and got to live on my own and really do things for myself for the first time. Most of what I learned was useless (I absolutely suck at model-making, rigging, animating, etc., plus I can’t build a website or understand coding to save my life), but it also taught me storyboarding, how to do digital art, certain do’s and do not’s, animatics, character creation and design, gave me a bigger respect and appreciation for art and its creators.. most of these things I still use today. It also made me realize I do NOT want a career in video games or any other high-pressure art jobs - I don’t ever want something I love, something that’s an escape for me, to become a chore I dread doing. - TL;DR - Yes, I did go lol, and I earned myself a useless Digital Animation degree.
This was my school’s building, and all us kids used to call it the “Space Tiddies”. When I started going there, the base paint was white and those rings were yellow, blue, and red. It looked like an irl Pokemon gym, cool as hell. But then a short while later, they decided to paint the domes flesh-colored and make those rings an ugly, flat green. They also did their very own version of those stupid JG Wentworth opera commercials, just about the school, and yes, they ran on local tv for a few weeks.
There’s not much on it at all, I just set it up, but it’s there if you guys wanna keep track for any updates! I was gonna do a sideblog with character information on here, but due to everything happening with the site I’ll be using my toyhouse account for that.
